The Malaysia-International Dental Exhibition and Conference (MIDEC) was held from 8th to 10th August 2025 with the theme “Tomorrow’s Dentistry Today”. This year’s theme reflects the collective inspiration to embrace innovation, bridge scientific advancements with clinical excellence, and redefine the future of oral healthcare.

Southern Lion joined this year’s MIDEC as a Silver Sponsor, participating in the trade exhibition. The event was officiated by Deputy Director General of Health (Oral Health) Ministry of Health Malaysia, Yang Berusaha Dr Fauziah Binti Ahmad. As part of the main sponsors of the event, Southern Lion was also invited to be part of the Opening Ceremony.

Following the Opening Ceremony, a walkabout was conducted during which our dental professionals provided product detailing updates on the Slim-Tech Technology in Systema Toothbrush, Dextranase in Systema Toothpaste, and Kodomo Probiotics Toothpaste to the VIPs. 

We also took this opportunity to launch the NEW Kodomo Probiotic Toothpaste together with the Deputy Director General of Health (Oral Health) Ministry of Health Malaysia, Yang Berusaha Dr Fauziah Binti Ahmad and our Managing Director, Mr Tomotaka Oka.

The conference garnered a total of almost 2000 Dental Professionals with more than 100 trade exhibition booths. Through our participation in MIDEC, we aim to further enhance brand visibility and drive growth in the professional dental market.
