1. Supporting Wildlife Conservation Efforts – Salt Lick Installation in Mount Muntahak, Kota Tinggi
 
Kota Tinggi, 23 September 2018 – Southern Lion conducted a wildlife habitat conservation project in collaboration with the Department of Wildlife & National Parks, Peninsula Malaysia (PERHILITAN) in September 2018.
An artificial Salt Lick was prepared at the foot of Mount Muntahak. Salt lick is a place where wildlife can go and lick essential mineral nutrients from a deposit of salt. These mineral nutrients are important for bone, muscle and general growth in wildlife.
Southern Lion with 20 staff helped to prepare the artificial salt lick area and also the installation of sensor cameras to record wildlife that visit the Salt Lick area.
