As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering a healthy and supportive workplace, Southern Lion successfully organised Wellness Day 2026 on 28 July 2026, from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., at the company's premises.

The event was held in collaboration with Regency Specialist Hospital and Eyesmate Optometrist, bringing together healthcare professionals to provide employees with valuable health screenings and educational resources. The initiative aimed to raise health awareness, encourage early detection of potential health issues, and promote healthier lifestyle choices among employees.

Throughout the day, employees had access to a variety of health screening services, including Basic Eye Screening, Advanced Eye Screening (AI Fundus), Blood Glucose (Diabetes) Test and Cholesterol Test. These services enabled employees to better understand their current health status and take proactive steps towards maintaining their well-being.

In addition to the health screenings, an Eye Health Talk titled "General Eye Care & Diabetic Eye Awareness" was conducted by healthcare professionals. The informative session highlighted the importance of maintaining good eye health, recognising the early signs of eye-related conditions, and understanding the impact of diabetes on vision. Employees also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical advice on protecting their eyesight.
