At Southern Lion, we believe that the health, safety, and well-being of our employees form the cornerstone of a productive and caring workplace. In line with this commitment, the company recently organized two impactful initiatives in October 2025 which are the Road Safety Awareness Exhibition and the In-House Health Screening Program. These initiatives aimed at promoting both physical wellness and responsible behavior among employees.

On Tuesday, 28 October 2025, Southern Lion successfully hosted a Road Safety Exhibition at the company’s premises from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in collaboration with the Johor Bahru Selatan Police Department. The exhibition focused on raising awareness about safe driving habits, accident prevention, and the types of traffic summons. Through informative displays and interactive sessions, employees gained valuable insights into responsible road practices, reinforcing the importance of safety both on and off the road.

Earlier in the month, on 16 and 30 October 2025, the company also conducted an In-House Health Screening Program at the canteen from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, in partnership with MediLabz Sdn. Bhd. The program offered essential health assessments to help employees better understand and manage their personal health. The initiative received strong participation, with many team members taking the opportunity to prioritize their well-being and learn more about preventive healthcare.Both initiatives reflect Southern Lion’s holistic approach to employee welfare, emphasizing not only physical health but also safety and awareness in daily life.
